Studying a Distance Learning Course at OHSC

Enrol

Once you have found the course of your choice. You complete the enrolment form and submit it to the following email:

Otherwise you can apply online by completing the Online Form available on our home page.

Once we receive your completed form, we assess it and get back to you further for paying your fee. You can pay in full or can spread the cost monthly payments.

Personal Tutor

When you enrol with OHSC for an online / distance learning course. You are allocated your personal tutor. The tutor contacts you and gives you access to our Online Learning Management System. Tutors’ help and support will always be there throughout your study with the college. He/she will assess your work, and will provide you with regular feedback on your progress.

Access to Online Learning Management System & Student Forum

Using your unique student ID and pass word you can log into our Learning Management system, where you find your study material to download, latest news and updates about your course and can also join the online student forum:

• Where you can take part in discussions
• Collaborate with your course mates
• Discuss with your fellow students the areas of module you are unsure about.

Course Materials

You are not required to buy any text books, all the study material is provided to you from the College. The course materials are written by subject specialists in easy to understand language especially for home study. At the end of each course unit you will have to complete an assessment which you will submit to your tutor for marking.

Assessment of the Course

Once you submit assignment to the tutor, the tutor marks it and gives you feedback on this. Once you pass the assignment you move on to your next module and this way complete your course.

Accredited Certificate

Once you complete your course successfully. You get your accredited certificate and are ready to set up for a brilliant future. It is up to you whether you start for a rewarding career by utilising your newly achieved skills,take your education to the next level or even set up your own business, you are completely ready to succeed.
