Module 4 – Communication Skills
The role and importance of high-quality and consistent communication skills follows in Module 4. Along with an exploration of the communication process in a modern business team setting, course content outlines several effective probing techniques, why team leaders must also be outstanding listeners and how a variety of barriers/variables can present communication challenges.
Module 5 – Motivating Employees
Motivational theory is explored at length in the fifth course module, which primarily focuses on the value of effective and ongoing employee motivation. Candidates discuss motivator identification techniques, strategies for creating a generally motivated working culture and how the team leader plays a direct role in all aspects of employee motivation.
Module 6 - Dealing with Conflict
Closing the course, Module 6 focuses on conflict resolution and how to effectively deal with conflict from the perspective of a team leader. Candidates explore a wide variety of common disciplinary issues, the importance of approaching conflict in a structured/organised manner and generally how to address and ideally prevent conflict within the team.
