Module 4 - Motivating Employees

Candidates then explore the intricate art of motivating a workforce, considering how different employees are motivated by different things.  The importance of appropriate incentivisation is discussed, along with common demotivation triggers and how to both detect and address issues with motivation at the earliest possible stage.

Module 5 - Communication Skills

Communication as a key leadership quality is discussed in module five, presenting the cornerstones of effective communication and a series of common communication barriers.  Candidates also learn how to hone and refine their listening skills, while encouraging more open and active communication in the workplace at all levels.

Module 6 - Emotional Intelligence

Module six introduces the concept of emotional intelligence and its relevance in a management or leadership position.  Candidates learn how to more effectively acknowledge and understand their emotions, consider the way they’re perceived by others and take active control over their own perceptions for more effective relationship management.

Module 7 - Conflict Management

Concluding the course, module seven provides a detailed breakdown of the structured approach to conflict management.  Some of the most common workplace conflict triggers are discussed, along with the inevitability of conflict, the basics of anger management and an overview of the ‘assertiveness formula’.
